We are currently seeking candidates for the following position(s):
Must be comfortable working from a faith based perspective, as the majority of women seeking services from Abundant Living request “Christian Counseling.” Please see the Services tab on our website for a better understanding of what this may look like in working with clients.
This opportunity is ideal for an individual who is motivated in building a caseload and looking to become established with a private practice that is committed to providing quality behavioral health services.
•Provide high quality and ethical counseling services for women.
•Develop and implement treatment plans. Evaluate client progress. Maintain appropriate clinical records.
•Schedule own client hours and maintain accurate billing records. Some evening and weekend hours are required.
•Prompt response to client needs and referrals.
•Attend staff meetings.
•Maintain good standing with appropriate board and insurance panels.
•Complete all required continuing education requirements per your discipline.
•Must be willing to market and establish/maintain relationships with referral sources.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
•Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related mental health field
•Minimum two years clinical experience providing psychotherapy and/or counseling
•Licensed in discipline by appropriate state board (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW). Associate licensure is acceptable, with experience.
•Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of the Internet, Word, Excel, Dropbox
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Training and experience in couples counseling is a plus.
This is a part-time employed position with the opportunity to become full-time.
